Canada PR and US PR - urgent help

My girl friend is a canada PR and US PR holder. Currently she is supporting her dad for canada visiting visa (he is in US now) However, she is wondering if her dad should indicate in the application form (5257) that his daughter(my friend) is Canada PR or not. (The problem is that person could not hold Canada and US PR simultanously)

Any help will be appreciated.

This is a genuine, but self created, problem faced by many. On all Canadian forms the daughter should be mentioned as a Canadian PR.
