Can I get same day AP in newark. I have EAD and waiting for approval

I have the same question. the INS website says you can apply AP in person in Newark three weeks before your leaving.
I am planing to back to home country at the end of March, be afraid of it is too late to apply AP with VSC.

You can get the AP from newark on the same day, but it takes almost an entire day. I was in at 7:30 AM and out at 3 PM. I have seen this pattern with some of my friends who have applied for AP at newark. One more IMPORTANT issue :: Make sure that the travel date you mention in the AP application is within the next three weeks

-Don't go on a Wednesday. No AP's on wednesday are issued in Newark

Hi . quick questions

- Did you apply for AP at newark for non emergency reason ?.. do they give the AP same day if it is a non emergency situation.

- Did you have to wait outside the building for long ?
- did they ask for flight ticket details

You have to give them a letter stating why you require Parole. Just state some emergency reasons back home and you should be fine, they did not ask me any records or doctor certificates to prove the same.

I waited outside for around 30 minutes as they open at 8AM. but the line grows irrespective of the opening time :)

No flight details required..

Take this set of Docs and you should be fine
- AP Application
- $110 Fee (Cash/Check/M.O.)
- Copy of I-485 Reciept Notice
- Copy of I-94 Arrival/Departure Record
- Copy of your OLD AP if you have one
- Copy of your EAD cards
- 2 ADIT style pictures
