Howdy gurus,
I want to know if an L1 visa can be converted to H1, and if so, will that person on L1 be subjected to the H1 cap?
We are trying to hire a guy who is currently on L1, but we will have to hire him on H1 as we don't have a branch outside USA. The guy has never been on H1 before, and as you know, the H1 cap is already over for the year.
Are there any workarounds? Appreciate your help.
