We are in the hope of I-485’s will be approved faster since I-140 backlog has been cleared and the workforce will be shifted to work on I-485’s. But it didn’t happen as we expected in this month. May be we have to do few things to improve I-485 processing times. I have drafted a letter and we will fax it to TSC Director, INS Commissioner and AILA President. We will fax it for 3,4 days (26,29,30th Apr & 1st May). So that they could understand our frustrations after receiving them in bulk. Just we will try and see what happens.

Fax Numbers:
TSC Director: 214-767-7654 & 214-767-7425 (Do you know better one?)
INS Commissioner: 202-307-9911 (got from Commissioner’s Special Asst)
AILA President’s (Mr. Steven M. Ladik): 202- 371-9449
For INS Phone numbers: http://www.usdoj.gov/dojofficials.htm#ins

Apart from sending the faxes, some one who lives around Washington D.C has to attend the ISD-CBO meeting. The INS\' Immigration Services Division (ISD) meets with representatives from Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Washington, D.C. at the end of every month. It will be held on 30th Apr at 2.00 PM (EST). I have got it from the Deputy Executive Associate Commissioner, Immigration Services Division (Phone:202- 514-6442).

It didn\'t allow me put everything in one discussion because of max length.

Please delete the first paragraph about I-140 while sending it to INS Commissioner & AILA President.

I have sent the similar letter to Ms. Sheela Murthy, Mr. Rajiv Khanna, shusterman.com, immigration-law.com, usvisa.com, usvisanews.com, my attorney and others to bring these issues in the next TSC-AILA meeting. I have received the replies from them. My attorney who is from Dallas has told me that he will bring these issues in the meeting. We will see what happens.

We will also include the latest (3/2002) TSC Processing Times print out and put a box mark around I-485 processing time. So that they could see ‘03/01/2000’ clearly. Go to: http://www.usvisa.com/texas.htm

Finally, we are sending two pages. One is the letter and other one is TSC Processing Times. Please copy the letter in to MS Word and format it properly for better looking.

Thanks.

I am with you, apart from faxing them on the dates that you said. I would suggest fax them every hour on the designated days.
How\'s that.

Venkat Kodi, thanks for this idea!!!

Ridiculously TSC is executing their "RANDOM processing of applications" behavior on a consistent basis. I just pray to Almighty God that TSC would stop this "CRAZY" random behavior and start processing of applications in streamline fashion.

Hats off to your Idea

Hats off to your sugestion but If they feel that you are irritating INS they may delay your case.

Please include Deputy Executive Associate Commissioner also...

It will be better if we include Deputy Executive Associate Commissioner, Immigration Services Division (Ph:202-514-6442) also,
who will be presiding over the tomorrow\'s ISD-CBO meeting and he knows more about the Immigration Services.
The person who looks into I-485 related issues is Ms. White.
So fax it to Attn: Ms. White at Fax No: 202-514-1984.

Unless they receive some 15, 20 faxes they can not understand about how serious is the problem. If they receive it from many people then there will be some impact. Hope everyone will understand my objective.

Is there any one who lives close to Washington D.C to attend ISD-CBO meeting

which will be held tomorrow at 2.00 PM (EST).

Thanks.
