Can we travel before or after filing N400?

Can we file N400 just after returning from abroad,(say 2 months out)..
Also after applying can we travel abroad?
Asume residence maintained in both the cases.

yes. as long as you satisfy the residency requirements, you are fine. I am in the same situation, traveled before filing and after.

You can travel, just remember to update the interviewer about your travels.
