Can we study on EAD?

1) Can anybody who has an EAD with a pending I-485 application study in US universities?
Or Does that person require a F1 Visa?

2) Most universities doesnot understand EAD. They have an item \'Are you a permanent Resident?\'
Does a person with EAD considered as a Permanent Resident. If No what visa type is EAD? If yes
How to explain?
 
yes U can study on EAD

Pl tell or inform or educate your University Counsellors, that U are on EAD, means AOS, means your I 485 application is pending with INS, for final adjudication with them,. tell them in this fashion that U can work any where in USA right from Mc donalds to Microsoft corporaion. and It is authorised by INS. U will not have any problem in studying on EAD. Most of the University consellors will have their brain in their KNEES... I think so ...

but you should be working full time in your field after six months you can change

job but not stay unemployed or employed in a wrong field.
I think EAD has some restrictions. if you need to renew it and working in a wrong area you are screwd up or if they ask you an rfe, you are screwd up again. so EAD does\'t mean you can do anything.
