Can we stop congratulating people in public?

Here's the middle road (as I look at it) that I ended up taking. I only post congratulations to those I feel I've come to know through these threads.

I remember seeing another desi forum where members could click a button saying "thanks" and their handles are added as having said "thanks" in a single post just below the Original Post, without adding individual new posts.
In this case, it would be "congrats" but I don't see that feature available / enabled here.

Anyway, back to waiting...

:) usrh1b, it is not about you. Try to grab the pun:)
Anand,
I am still waiting to get the original RFE from attorney. If I do not receive it before friday, I will be taking a copy (Gold color) and planning to send it on my own.

I have talked to the TSC IO and informed the same, the IO said, that (Copy in gold color) is fine. In addition to this, I called the NSC customer service and confirmed the same. Why are you asking now anand? Did you get any response from TSC.

1. you can send a private message to the person.
2. "congrats" post conveys no information, it's pure noise. With the site performance as it is, it's a pain to click on an updated thread, see that it has no information and go back. And then do the same thing 10 more times. There's like 1 worthwhile post per 10 stupid congrats.
3. we know you're insincere and you're just doing it cause you think it adds to your karma. A 10 year old would figure that out. Private message adds more karma, believe me.

I suspect now all the congratulators will tell me to drop dead once I post my "i'm f***n approved!" message, but I doubt it will ever happen in this universe, and if it does I so won't care:)

I think best approach for you is to stop visiting this web site and visit only www.USCIS.gov where you can get ONLY information and thus "Congrats" posts would not irritate you anymore though you would be irritated on www.uscis.gov with unwritten "F*** of from here" everywhere on that site.

Perhaps you could explain then why you yourself posted CONGRATULATION messages in no less than five threads ? You too were insincere on all those five occassions?
