Can we respond to RFE by ourselves

Hi all,
Question. Can we respond to employment based RFE by ourselves. All INS wanted was employment letter and the pay stubs. Do we also send some fee for processing?

Did anyone do it before? Please respond.

I think it should go through lawyer. But how did you come to know about your RFE ? Did you call IIO to find out ? or did your
lawyer tell you ?

YOu don't wanna take risk at this stage unless there are strong reasons for it.
