Can we get stamped without appointment in Atlanta?

Is it Mandatory ???

What happens if you show up there early in morning?
Do they send you back?????????
 
We got our appointment scheduled for mid October. On the confirmation it says that we will not be admitted before 15 mins. prior to the scheduled time. So I guess taking an appointment would be a wise option. And it is pretty easy, you can schedule it online.
 
Infopass wait time is 10-15 days???
By the time I will be approved I may have to wait a few months to get an appnt...??
