Can we get a copy/Original of I-485 Receipt / FP directly from VSC? Any experienced folks out there

Hi all,

Welcome!

Is\'t POSSIBLE to get a \'Copy of Receipt\'(Notice of Action) for I-485 and/or FP Notice DIRECTLY from VSC?
 
Has any one done this? If so what way we can request \'em? If NOT, if one has an attorney and want to bypass the latter,
can the Applicant request VSC to \'DIRECTLY Send\' ALL Communications to him/her? Your info. is highly appreciated.

An IIO told me that they only print one receipt notice for 485.
Therefore they cannot send you a duplicate. If you have filed a G-28
they will continue to send the original to the attorney representing
you. I am not sure of the procedure to tell INS that an attorney
is NOT representing you! Whay don\'t try asking an IIO?
