can we file 2nd Waiver before I start first one ?

Hi,

I have this question and I appreciate responses from all pros here.

I have already got an approval from INS for J-1 waiver that I have filed long back ago. Now I am just waiting to finish my residency to file H-1b. But I found another position which is lot better than the first one as geographic area is little bit better and it allows me to stay with my family as we are staying in different places due to residency for the last couple of years. My question is can I file for another Waiver as I have already got one approval and have not started it yet. I think I can change once I start working for the first one but this one may not be there if I start the first one and then to file for second waiver.

noop u cannot file for a new J waiver infact can get into trouble u can get j waiver only once in lifetime unlike H

How did you do that? You have to start working in your HPSA 90 days after waiver approval by CIS (+/- some informal grace period for H1b processing and completion of residency)

If you already have an approved waiver, backing out of this and trying for a 'better job' can land you in a lot of trouble, particularly if you p**** of prospective employer #1.
