..... to see a big jump in Priority Dates in Visa Numbers for May? I know it is really difficult to predict these things but just want to know what do you gurus and your lawyers think about this.

Looking at how they moved the last 4 months, i would think at most they would move by a month. Its hard to predict the demand because of the labor substitution cases and number of Labor certifications that has been approved. Iam thinking that the state department will safely move the dates by a month or will keep the dates as it is. hey, but they can allocate part of 101,000 visas in the third quarter and we can see some jump

Hi,
Looks like you gave finger prints on 3/26. Is it biometrics or just FP? Also youhave LUDs on 3/28 and later. Did the message ever change to FP received and continue processing? Usually for most of them the LUD change after FP takes about a week unless it is biometrics. This is just my observation.
Thanks!

This is one general trend I observed that people who gave biometrics instead of just finger prints are having LUDs faster. But I really dont know if the message difference between "App received" and "finger prints results reviewed" make any significant difference in adjudication process. One thing I observed though is that whose message changed to FP received and who gave biometrics are getting approved faster.
We gave only FP but msg changed to FP results reviewed and received. Does it mean that the name check is completed?
If anyone knows this, please reply.
Thanks in advance!

yeah it was biometrics. LUD changed on 3/28, 3/29 without change in message. It still says "Application received...".

I have a questions Amercian Competitive act released 101,000 visas number back in 2001. Do you guys think really they will utilize those numbers by the 2005 year end.
If they can use those numbers they could have done in 2004, when they have an issue of visa numbers in 2005 first quarter. Why are they waiting to use those numbers and what legal implications they are bounding to use those numbers. I could not get the logic behind using those numbers.

Gurus, can any one can one explain that......

Any one....

Iam not a guru by any means, but i think they will add 27% of those visas to EB3 during the fourth quarter for the PD calculations purpose and we can see a huge jump (this is a demand side). But on the other hand USCIS is not going to approve faster than they did in the last three quarters (this is the supply side). Hence i believe only part of those visas will be used in the quarter and not everything.

Also remember they can use those numbers only when the yearly numbers are exhausted.

My LUD changed once more today with the message "the results of your fingerprint review received..."
