Can we enter US?

Our US H1 visa was expired due to 6-year limit. We recently moved to Canada on PR. We want to bring our car from US. Is it going to be a problem if we enter US and bring the car back? Since we need to be out of country for one year. Will it be a problem if we want to come to US on H1 again?

take care to document you exit date from the US...

either from the canadian stamp on entry or by sending back the
I-94 to the US INS in a certified letter ( sometimes the canadian
officers just dump the I-94 in the trash !).
You must be able to prove that you have been out of the US for
more than 1 year, that way they will give you a new H1 visa..also
remember to ask a lawyer if you are able to apply for it earlier and then enter the US a year later or you need to apply for the H1 approval only after 1 year.

1. Make sure to return your I-94

2. By returning I-94, your one year clock will start ticking and you
   can again apply for H1 later if needed

I will return my I-94 to INS. we are going back to India. we did not look for any jobs yet. After coming back from India we will do that. We are staying in relatives house. So still don\'t know much about the life style here.

PR Process

Hi Shrini,
I had applied for PR through independent application.
I mailed the documents 5 weeks back with full payment.
I still didnt hear anything from consulate yet.
Can you share any info about which number to call & more info of time frame for us resident aplications for visa approval.
