One of my friend story is entirly diffrent. I think he is lucky guy.

He was laid off around end of 2001 then he did small projects. in 2002 he worked as part time job.
Finally he got approved Labor(LC is $75k) through his frined company then
I-140 applied in July'2002 (Future Employement) and also he appled h1 another company. He paid money and process pay stubs for 6 months(55k sal) then he git his 2002 w2 only 26k. (in 2001-25k). in 2003 he got job and he is working.
and I-485 applied in Sep'2002. In 2003 he got RFE is saying that
his W2 is less salary. then GC company replied we will pay him what we mention as LC. then his I-140 approved in sep'2003. and I-485 approved in Feb'2004.

He got approved and got stamped his passprot.
he got good knowledge and good subject but he did not get the job, coz of his employer(previous). he was strugled from his employer(2001).
His status:
Future GC, VSC
I-140-July'2002 , AD : 09'2003
I-485 - Sep'2002 AD : Feb'2004

He did not work his GC company. Is there any time frame is there. or he can work at anytime?
