Can VSC FP be given in California?

I am in California and need to give my 2nd FP in Pittsburgh. Can I give it in California? Has anyone tried anything like this before pl. advice.

I had my first FP done in Oakland, California. The one difference is I live in CA but 485 filed in VSC, so my FP interview was scheduled by BCIS at Oakland,CA.

You may have to check with the closest BCIS office and probably show proof that you now live in CA.

for me it was other way round

I have done my FP at NY and it was scheduled at San Jose, CA.
I think it is OK...and they normally let you do it..just tell them
that you are in CA for a temp assignment.
 
It should be ok. My case is with VSC, my FP was scheduled in Michigan but my wife's was in Boston. Michigan center accepted our both FPs.

Yes you can !

My I485 was filed from VSC and I got the FP notice for Philadelphia, PA but I gave my FP at Sanjose, CA as I was working and living there at that time...
No questions were asked....
