Can TSC approve I485 without FP?

:D As many May, June -02 guys are waiting for FP, TSC may not have choice to wait till FP completion ( FP completion would take couple of months ).

So my guess(Wish also) is INS would approve without FP. FP can be done during stamping or later dates.

ASC offices are not overloaded, so there is no reason why they won't be able to complete all the FPs.

That's very very unlikely because there is NO mechanism in USCIS to take FP after approval. And that does not make sense too.

With respect of your personal opinion. don't think so they would left behind their procedure just becuase of this reason.

Don't be silly about TSC. Do you think they work under any pressure?? Is there any incentive for them to process those old cases? NO!
 
There has been very few cases in the past of TSC approving without FP. However, we never saw a pattern anytime in the past.

FP can be done at ASCs with 10x the current load. Usually FBI completes check within a single day, unless you are a 'hit' and in some cases delays for special registration countries.
Its ALWAYS TSC that has been screwing us....
 
A friend of mine was approved without fingerprints being done. (This was in June of 2001) This is a very rare case. Not sure why it happened.
 
They can do whatever they like. They may even approve if you have not filed for I-485. They should come out with a white paper explaining the delays and explaining the inconsistencies. I won't be surprised if they approve people without fingerprinting.

Our concern is whether TSC works or not? Why so many pending cases?
