Can Travel Separately after Winning?

me and my husband won the lottery for 2008.

i am principal winner and we both got immigrant visa labels stamped on our passports and also got yellow envelope

now my husbands passport --- on the visa label its written under Annotation
"Valid only if Acc Spouse". The same says on the yellow envelope for him

does this mean my husband can only travel with me together and not separately . i thought the only restriction was that he couldnt go first as i am main winner
i thought i can go first and then my husband can come after me.

can someone advise if this is always printed like this and winners can travel separate as long as principal winner goes first

I think it is not worth it to take the risk.some immigration/custom people on the airport you enter, might had different interpretation of the law.And your husband might end up not getting his GC when arrive later.
So better play it safe, and just enter the POE (port of entry) together for the first time. Then if your husband had to do something,he can fly out from US right away and had no problem, since his passport is already stamped.

Good luck

husband can travel either with you, or after you. It's ok as long as he enters while his visa is still valid.
