Can Today\'s US Economic condition delay I-485 approved?

1. Now a days I see some US citizens, permanent residents, etc. unemployed due to US Economic recession. Is this condition may delay approving I-485 applicants? I guess so!

2. I was testing to find status of other cases, for example SRC##.... plus or minus 1, 2 numbers (I don\'t know who are the beneficiaries) at TSC automated voice message system. I couldn\'t believe myself how those SRC numbers were approved in October, 2000. Have you tried to check the statuses of other SRC numbers?
 
I485 approved at TSC: EB3 India

My I-485 has been approved as per TSC AVM Monday, Aug. 27th, 2001. Following are our details:
PD: April 1999
LC Approval Date: Sept. 1999
I-140 approval date: March 2000
I-485 Receipt Date: April 2000
FP Date: 06/20/2001
AP: 08/27/2001.
EB3, TSC.
