Can this be true?

I called the national service center to give an address change. Once the address was updated, I requested the CSR to tell my case status.

She said that my case is going well and when I asked her if my name check is completed, she said "yes". She also said that you should get a decision on this case by Feb 22nd.

Do you think this can be true? Is she just telling me some answer so that she can move on to the next person? Will the CSR rep know by when the decision has to be made?

From what I've seen in general, yes, this looks like it could be true.
And, yes, it's possible that she was just giving you some BS.

But I'd say that the chances that it's true are greater than it being false.

Yes, please post your case history. Just add it to your signature, that's the easiest thing to do.

listen my friend this is all BBBBBBBSSSSSSS. these CSR do not have any access to your case. what ever you see on your computer, CSR see the same thing. CSR even do not know about your name check or FP results.

An update on my case for you guys. I took an infopass just now and came to know that my name check is pending for about 1 year and 1 month now. My children are also in the same boat.

However, my wife's name check is complete.

The following is my details:

Labor - Aug/Sep 1998
I-140 don't know somewhere in 2001 timeframe
I-485 receipt date - Dec 22, 2005.

I am on second EAD and AP.

I am hoping that my case gets approved in next 6 months or so.
