can they use the Finger prints taken at port of entry

I have a question on the Finger prints for 485 adjudication. I filed my 485 in Sep 2005 and gave the finger prints in Dec 2005 (don't remember the code). After that I didn't get any finger print requests.

meanwhile I have travelled outside the country couple of times. I was wondering if they can use the finger prints from the port of entry for the 485 ?. can that be the reason for me not getting the second finger print request ?.

I thought only the index finger's print is taken at the port of entry. Did you provide all 10-prints at the port of entry?

Only the index fingers ..not all 10 fingers.

So it won't be sufficient to do a 10-print FP check before they approve your GC. In other words, you need to find out why you haven't received your second FP notice.
