Can TD holder find job? thx

First I 'd like to thank nelsona and CalGreenCard answered my previous question posted the other day.
I have another question. I will get married 2008 and I will apply TD for my wife. She is not a PR of Canada now and she is not in Canada. Now I am wondering can a TD holder find job in US? If she gets TD can she find job and work in US? If so, what kind of visa she should apply, does it affect my TN? Can we buy a house in US?

A TD holder is as free as anyone else to look for work while otherwise legally in US. Get her TD first.

however, she needs to get her own work status (like H), which would limit her search to a professional position matching her degree. Without a degree, she is unlikley to qualify for a work visa. She is not entitled to a TN (unless she is Mexican). If she is currently working for an internatioanl company , she could see if she can get transferred by them to the US operations.

Of course you can buy a house. A house does not affect your TN or her TD.
