Can start my studies while Asylum is in progress

Hello Memebers,

Please help me by telling where I’m eligible to start my studies in USA while my request for the Asylum is in progress? :confused:

yes but you will not be able to get government financial aid.

what about if someone is illegal and applies for asylum! can applicant join school while asylum in process? will school take take that person?
 
Each institution is free to set its own rules on this. Many schools admit students without to immigration status if you can pay.
 
As thankful said, many schools will let you enroll even if you are out of status. My husband (who is out of status) is at the community college right now in Houston and registered for University of Houston Downtown. It depends on the school, and your best bet is to talk to the advisor for international students at the school of your choice.
