Can spouses travel to the US separately after obtaining the DV?

I was wondering what is the regulations pertaining to the departure of spouses after they obtain their DV visas. Can, for example, my wife travel to the US several months after my departure (but within the expiration date of the visa)?

I thinks this is OK, but wanted to souble check it!

I also going alone initially and hope to get my wife and son after 2 months (before expiration of 6 months visa). In DS 230 form there is a place to fill the name of the persons who accompany with the main applicant. I have filled it accordingly. I suppose that is for the purpose of issuing separate sealed envelopes which will be openend at POE if main apllicant and dependents go separately.

In section 31a and 31b they asked that. Accordingly I suppose they will issue either one sealed envelope or separate envelopes ( as I suppose)

31a. Person(s) named in 14 and 29 who will accompany you to the United States now.

31b. Person(s) named in 14 and 29 who will follow you to the United States at a later date
 
I meant where to find the rules about it. I will try to find it on the web site

I filled accompany now for all dependents, but I got separate envelops (mine, as the winner, is thickest)
What did you fill and get?

Who won the lottery, is't you or your spouse? Always the winner must go first or could be accompanied by his/her dependents.
 
so I, as winner, can also go alone to get the process started without dependents?
will they get their cards as well or just mine?
did you do this yourself (traveling alone at first while filling in that you are accompanied now , see question 31a)
