^^^^Can spouce go for two months out of country on AP ??????

My lawyer says AP is only for emergency and not for vacation. Did anyone or anyone\'s spouse go out of country for two months and had problem in getting approved ???? My wife will be going for vaction after our FP this month. We are currently processing AOS/485. Please share your thoughts. Thanks

My experience

My spouse was out of the country on AP. She was out for 50 days at first, then entered using AP (just for finger printing), left USA again after one week. The approval came 5 weeks after FP. She re-entered USA 2.5 weeks after that (again using AP). So she was out for 50 days again.
We got our passports stamped after she came back.
There was no problem in re-entering. She used SFO for the 1st time, and Chicago for the 2nd time.
