Can someone tell what my lawyer means

Hi,

My I-485 fingerprinting expires shortly. My laywer says we will request adjudication of our AOS case before the prints expire.
Can someone please tell what it means. Does it mean my case will be assinged to an officer?

It just means that your laywer will request adjudication of our AOS case before the prints expire. But I don't think BCIS will consider his opinion.
 
It means lawyer will push INS to shake a leg.

As general as the above sounds, here is what the lawyer expects ....

Your case will get adjudicated (or approved in 99% cases).

Here is what will happen ..

INS will say, sorry that is not a good enough reason for us to assign your app to an officer, we will issue a refingerprint notice.
