I have a cousin in India with B.Pharm degree. we have an employer (pharmacy company) ready to spnsor h1-b. Cousin hasn't appeared for any exams or anythig. can anyone give me list of exams, which he MUST have to clear before appearing for h1-b visa interview? Or we can't even apply for h1-b w/o him clearing one and all exams? please advise guys with the setps to apply for h1-b.

I dont think this is true. To get an H1B visa you should have passed the FPGEE exam at the minimum. Visit www.nabp.net to learn more about these exams.

Just an addition to my previous email.
However, the FPGEE is a paper/pencil exam. So, you have to be physically present in US to take the exam, as the exam is administered only in US. Now the question is, how can you take the exam when you dont have a visa to come here to start with?

p.s. This is just my opinion. I may be wrong.

information

1st importent thing is when he finished his B.Pharmacy coz if after 1st jan 2003 then he is not eligible to take fpgee.so in order to get registration as a pharmacist he needs to study here first.
without being a pharmacist i don't know how that company can sponcer him for the post of pharmacy.
for better information you should contect particular state pharmacy bord
where you liveing.

hi,

You mentiuoned Pharma Company means, Working in Pharmaceutical Industry. So for working in pharmaceutical industry there is no need of FPGEE.
