Can someone leave the united states for travel and go to another country after they have their biometerics done

and then once the greencard is here have someone send it to me in the other country?
------------- you know USCIS. if lost in mail what you will do? better get passport stamped and then you can go out and can come back with valid passport stamp or your friend/relative can send you your Card
