Hi friends,
           I got married In Jan 2002, and I filed my husband\'s petition in Nebraska center but they didn\'t send me any receipt or anything, I tried to call them but they didn\'t give me sufficient answer, I\'m a green card holder and I don\'t know how long its gonna take him to come in the United states,So If anyone help me about this issue, so please give your valuable suggestion and advice, I will heartily appreciate for that wonderful person.

GC for spouse of a GC holder

Sorry, but he is going to have a long wait. You need to wait for the priority date to be current to file the I-485 or for consular processing. Since he is an FB-2A category, he\'s looking at at least a 5 year wait.

              You said that He need to be wait at least 5 years, but I filed his petition and send them a money order too, But I\'m still waiting a receipt No. from INS. I\'m permanent resident in United states, It\'s take me 2 more years to get citizenship, Is any other way so he can come here soon..... Please Sir give me your suggestion.

I-94 for EAD

Would some one help me please...
My I-485 has been filed in 11/29/2001 and got my EAD. On 02/01/2002 I was laid off and got another job offer. I used EAD to work with the new company, so my H1 became out of status... (that\'s what I think). Originally my H1 visa stamp was till 08/15/2002, So my I-94 admission period ends on 08/15/2002.

Usually when you transfer H1 or extend H1 you get new I-94 along with your approval. What about EAD ??? Do I need to apply for new I-94. How do I apply for new I-94 (probably based on my EAD, becasue I am using EAD to work).
 
You should have waited 180 days after filing 1-485

Under AC-21 if you had waited 180 days and then joined new employer then you would not have problems but since you changed job 02/01/2002 and filed I-485 on 11/29/2001 you are in a complex situation. Please get legal advise ASAP then worry about I-94.

I got married in India,So some my friends said It\'s take 5 years. But I think the proccessing time is kinda slow, If anyone help me this situation...... Please Help me.

GC holder is also a permanent lawful resident.
