Can someone apply for two I-485 from two different employer at the same time??

No ..

If you apply for a 485 with a new employer, the previous one MUST be withdrawn - if it is not, INS will deny the application and the possibility of an appeal is slim.

On what ground do they do that? Can one possibly work in the future

with company A or company B? What is their justification?

Intent

I don\'t know the technical details, but INS looks at the intent to work in the future for the company full time. How can you have an intent to work for 2 companies full time at the same time?

Isn\'t it the same with H1 too? How can they give multiple h1s and let go

overtime work? I think we are missing something here. I really
like to know about the actual ground of denial.

What are you missing here?

As mentioned by the earlier members, you can not apply for AOS from two different companies.

Regarding over time/working in shifts, anyway you can do that after you get a GC. No one can stop you from working more than 40 hours. If you think properly, then answer is there.
