Can some one travel overseas while 485 pending?

hi guys,
I need to go back to my country as my father is very sick. I applied for my I-485 at Dec/99 and i have done my FP last month. I wanted to know if i can leave the country for two weeks now? is it too risky? will it affect my Application?
any input greatly appriciated,

you can leave country provided you have a valid advance parole, with valid "from-to" dates specified.

You can go if you have an H1 visa (stamp required to come back) or Advance Parole.

AP generally takes a month to three months depending on the SC and their current speed.

You may be able to get an Emergency AP from local office (not all offices issue this!) and you can get the forms from immihelp.com
