Dear All,
Both my wife and me have the same interview date/time. Will it be an issue if our son accompany us? Its too late for registrtaion at afterschool care, and we don't have anyone who can look after him after school. Any past experience?

Depends on the DO, but usually YES. Once you reach there, you can either
a) request interviews one after the other ... even if you have the same time, the IOs have many interviews per day and if someone else is waiting, they might interview them first
b) one of you take the kid with you ... with IOs permission
c) In some places, there is also a playing area (legos etc.) in the waiting area. So the 2nd person to go for the interview (even though you have the same interview time, you will not be called the same second) leave him there ... I think 7 is a bit young to leave alone though, and what if the interview becomes a long one?

Best to call your DO and check on the play area if that will work for you. The other 2 options will most likely work.

Yes, chances are it should be alright. They can either let him into the interview or you take turns for the interview. I have never heard of it being an issue. All past reported experiences have been positive.
