Can one's case be not approved 'coz spuse's FP is pending...

Guys,
I have a question. I 've applied 485 in Aug '03 for me and my spouse.
I finished FP1 in october 13th. My wife hasn't FP'ed yet! Can my case be delayed wife's FP is pending? Anybody has any expereinces similar to this?

I know at least three person who got approved without spouse approval ( spouse have not received FP1 notice yet ).. two you will easily find in this forum..one has posted today :)
 
If your wife is the primary, then your case can be delayed, since your case is dependant on her's getting approved.

If you are the primary, then your case should not be delayed.

They always approve the primary first, while in many instances it seems as if they approved them at the same time, it is a matter of minutes, semantics really, but the primary is still first. In some cases its not a matter of minutes, but a matter of months. In my specific case, my case (primary case) has been transferred to the local office for an interview, while my spouse (dependant case), is still in TSC.

Primary approved without spouse

I got approved even though my wife has not done her FP2 yet. So you should be fine. Note: I am the primary in this case.
