Can not sort out fingerprinting app mess

Hi guys,
this is the story for whoever didn't read my 1st post...
I applied for my parents GC, got fingerprinting letters; diffentent times for mom & dad, called first for mom, got date time and confirmation number.
the 1st time I called for my dad she told me my dad already had an app in tampa, :eek: , anyway she said she fixed and gave a diferent date, time and number for my dad; this was like a week ago,
I don't know way but I didn'y feel at ease with all the situation so I called again today to make sure dates and times and the girl in the phone told me she was very confussed and she didn't know what to do since she never saw a situation like this before, she said they both have the same confirmation number which is my dads number, my mom app doesn't exist anymore she does not know whay and my dad has an app on date and hour that my mod had it, she ask me for my phone # and she said she is going to send the case for clarification???? and maybe somebody will call me within 2 weeks, of course I don't think nobody is giong to call me
I don't know what to do next, just wait or get infopass or walk in in fingerprinting builduing, I'm confused please help

Keep on calling them girl and insist on clarification. Cause it depends all on them , and they must fix it in their comp system. Not all of them are competent enough. I've been given so much both misleading and true info from that phone. I guess most of us here did too.

has set you up like that!!!! Keep on calling there and insist on your FP dates
It sounds like somebody there did't input e-data right.

Let me try to put your mind at ease. Have your mom and Dad go together for the biometics and figerprints. All the appliction support center needs is the NOA from MSC. The reciept number are assigned to the individuals. When I got my Biometics and fingerprints done, I have an date of 4/25/05 but I went on 4/6/05. Had no appointment on that day but I was going out of town on 4/25/05. So I took a chance and when I show up early in the moring I( just told the guard I had an appoinmtent, I just didn't mention it was 2 weeks later but anyways when I spoke to the ASC manager people were complaing because they had a appoinment at 10:00 am and it was 11am already. ASC were having trouble with thier machines so processing was slow. One guy walk in while I was doing my prints and said I have to go back to work and my appoinment was at 9:30am, the lady told him to go back out and wait and then she told me nobody has an appoiment. The appoinment works like this, if you have a NOA from INS and it has a ASC code of 2 or 3 and you get a pick ticket from the officer because they only hand out 70 per day and 20 walkin for whatever reason then you will be seen. The confirmation number NCSC gives you means nothing, I did not have one and if you read other post other people did walk in and had no confrmation numbers, all prints goes with the reciept notices so make sure you bring them all or you will have to go back again. If the officer ask just tell them both your mom and dad has an appoinment today and show them you NOA form INS. Other stories you can find in this forum is that one person only had an appoinment for his EAD and a month later for his AOS but when he went to the ASC, and told them he had to come back in a month to do the AOS, and ASC accomdate him they are really nice.

Basically relax because those people at NCSC for INS don;t know anything. All you need is a NOA form INS. ASC ae not part of DHS only contractors to do biometiocs and fingerprints. So please relax and take your appoiment and have your mom and dad show up at the same day and they will not be turn away. Believe me I know many people who just show up and was not turn away, juat tell them mom and dad both had an appoinment which they both did and leave it at that, the guards only want to see the NOA form INS to let you in. If you have anymore questions just ask.

A couple of months ago when I did my EAD I had no confirmation number and I did an infor pass to talk with an immigration officer and then he told me I can get my biometics done now, I told him I did not have an appoinment and he just told me go over to ASC and put my NOA in the basket and they will call you and it will save you a trip in comming back, I did just what he told me and the ASC took me that same day and did not even ask for a confirmation number. They allows have extras slots available that NCSC don't know for walk ins. Ifg you inside the INS buliding ASC personal will NOT SEND YOU AWAY. JUST GO there early than your appoinment time. The guad has no idea when your appoinment is.

thank you tony and nbc, you guys are very helpful, I did work for an immigration compan doing applications HB-1 for 2 years , and that was when CIS was INS, it seems to me that things are getting harder more complicated.
