My spouse is currently F1 student. We filed 485 and already get EAD. She will graduate in May and want to apply for practical training. But the officer in her school said that she is not eligible to apply for practical training since she is no longer on F1 status when she filed 485. She really want to get practical training and is very worried. Anybody has similar experience? Thanks in advance

we were in the same boat.
We wer in the same boat. We applied for my spouses practical training before we applied for 485. When we talked to our lawyer, he mentioned that you can work either with PT EAD card or EAD card. We chose that option since VSC was slow in processing because of the mail room problem. But if she has the EAD card then there is no problem.
