Can my friend fills I-864 Affidavit of Support

Hi Everyone!

I know that a relative can fill out form I-864 Affidavit Support, but unfortunately my relative cannot meet the income requirement. I would like to know if my friend can fill I-864 Affidavit Support to support me and my wife. Thank you very much in advance for your help and I look for to all of your replies.

yes anybody can fill for you but will a friend give you all the supporting document like W-2,evidence of citizenship eg birth certificate,passport,SSN
its not all about signing the form.

If my friend can fill I-864 Affidavit to support me and my wife. Do I have to fill one out too?
