Can long pending name check cause troubles to me when I return from traveling abroad?

Hi,

My naturalization name check has been pending for > 1 year. This suggests that my name may have a match or similarity to someone in the FBI's name check database. Can this cause any trouble to me when I return to the US from traveling abroad? Thanks for your inputs.

I have been told that you can still travel with your GC. I am on the same boat, I am thinking of writing to the Officer who took my interview to find if it would be okay to travel just in case.

I did travel a lot while waiting for the name check. No problems at all, BUT maybe this is the reason why my name check is still pending. All trips were 2-3 week long.
