Can J2 holder get the Green Card after winning the DV lottery?

Hello,
In a couple of weeks I and my wife (we are from Ukraine) will apply for exchange visitor visas (my wife - for J1 visa, and I - for J2).
Today I found out that I won in DVLottery.
My wife MUST get J1 visa soon (she will start medical residency in 2 months). But as to me, if I apply for J2 visa and get it soon, will I still be eligible for being approved for Green Card? Will it be possible to change status from J2 to Green Card?

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Alexander

Your question should be asked the other way around: having won the green card lottery, are we going to be eligible for J visa? F and J visas are not dual intent, meaning that you can't get those visas if you have an intention to immigrate to US. Having won DV is a pretty sure sign of that intent. On the nonimmigrant visa forms, there is a question about whether you have applied for immigration before, technically you have not applied yet but you still have to disclose that you have won the GC lottery. The rest is up to the consulate, they may not issue you a J visa.

Liver,

You can of course apply and get selected for further processing in the lottery BUT you will have to be cleared from the 2 year home residency requirement if this is written on your DS-2019 and your visa. To get this waiver takes time and this is a problem that usually DV selectees face. I know that for doctors this rule could be even more strict and maybe (I am not 100% sure) you can't get such waiver. You would also get the restriction because you are a dependant of your wife (J1).
