Hi All
Do you think that an international journalist, no Ph.d no masters, but lots of experience and high profile work would qualify for an EB1. I have what I consider lots of achievements in my field and really exclusive interviews.
I developed most of my journalistic experience in the Middle East where I worked for The New York Times, Reuters and the Dallas Morning News.
My news stories also appeared in the Financial Times, The Times of London, The Sydney Morning Herald and the New Republic among other publications.
I have tens of thousands of citations.
I now work for an international news agency in the U.S. as one of their correspondents. I won two awards form in 2003 and 2004 for stories on business deals for international corporations in the developing world.
I am frequent commentator on international affairs. I was interviewed several times by the BBC Arabic Service, al-Jazeera, al-Arabiya, Abu Dhabi TV. I spoke at important U.S. think tanks about the Middle East, and U.S. foreign policy etc. The events I spoke at were broadcast by C-Span. I was also interviewed by several U.S. radio stations. I have video and audio evidence of all that.
My work was referenced in a number of books and academic papers.
I interviewed statesmen, foreign secretaries of state, ministers and senior officials from across the globe. I also filed stories from 16 world locations.
My reference letter would come from fellow journalist in the New York Times, FT, Newsday, Reuters and others. What do you think? Do I have a chance or this is the wrong way to go. Private replies or public ones would be much appreciated.
Thank you all in advance. You are all great.
