Can I Work on Old L1 after H1 Approved?

I applied for H1 in last April. I was here in US on L1 visa when I applied for H1 and I still continue with same company.

My H1 got approved with an I94 on last Oct. My I-797A says "petition and change of status have been approved.". And there is I-94 information which is valid until Oct 2000.

Does this mean I must not be working with my L1 company any more?

Pls reply if you have some info.
