Can I work for my won company after getting I140 approved and I485 pending more than 180 days, please advise. I would like set up my own company and let's not give any dollars to those consulting companies. Please give me your expert openion
 
Did anyone opned a company after getting their I140 and didn't had problem to get through 485? My Attorney is saying it is kind of risky that you have to say that you are in the same kind of occupation and he doesn't suggest this much.
 
So you want to setup your own :eek: consulting :eek: company and work for it. Do you plan to employ any other H1b's for their :rolleyes: Dollars :rolleyes:

You can open a company anytime. But, you can't sponsor yourself or any of your relations for green card under employment category. You still need to be employed and sponsored for the green card by someone else who are not related to you.
 
I think we are diverting our direction from my original question. My question was Can I work for my own consulting company using AC21 while my I140 is approved and I485 is pending for more than 180 days. Is there any issues regarding 485 approval? Please advice.
