Can I work on expired EAD with renewal EAD receipts?

    My EAD expired in March. I applied for renewal in April. I got receipts. Can i work on expired EAD with renewal receipts like H1B?

Even though it is not a legal suggestion that you can work ( i think ??.)because you have got an expired EAD and hoping you have got EAD receipt (Did you ?) and you can convince the employer that you have got all the legal documents to work on..
