Can I use the approved I-140?

Got laid off after I-140(EB2 based) approved one year ago. Can I use the approved I-140 if I go back to work for the same company? I have about 2 year left in H1B, and there is no way I can start the LC again from my new employer now. Please help if anyone has the knowledge.
 
Thanks for the comments. Do I need to file separate form? I mean

I mean how INS checks whether the job description is the same.
