Can I use the approved EAD to switch employer?

My EAD with I-485 application sponsored by Employer A has been approved. Due to the current business condition of Employer A (it might not last long), I am thinking about switching an employer? Can I use my current EAD to work for a different company full-time without transfering H1? Thx.

You can use EAD provided you have your 1-140 approved and its > 180 days since you applied for I-485.
The risk is if you use EAD then your H1-B will become invalid. Then if 485 is rejected/denied then you are in trouble as you will be out of status.
Talk to your lawyer and ask his opinion before you make any decisions.....
