Can I use the Advance Parole applied through former employer

I applied i485 and AP through my former employer and will be joining the former employer at a later date.

Now can I use the Advance Parole while working at current company on H1 or I should use H1 only until I move to former employer? My H1 stamp expired a while ago.

Advance Parole is not for employment

Advance Parole does not authorize to work. This is just for travel, if your 485 is pending and you have to travel outsid the US, you can use this in replacement of visa and come back showing this to the immigration officer at airport and the airline/securoty at your home country. I do not think AP is linked with any specific employer, it does not matter if you are working with the same company when you applied for it. You can use it as long it is not expired when you return back to US.

If you have to switch the employer you need the employment authorization (if your 485 is pending for more than 180 days, only then you can switch).
