Can I use Pay stub from OPT period for H-1B transfer?

Hello,
I found your website really helpful. Thank you for setting up such good website.

I have a question that need help. I started my OPT from 07/02/05. My current employer applied H-1B for me, which starts on 04/01/06. Now I have got a new job offer, and I will have to transfer my H-1B to the new company.

I know that I need at least 2 pay stubs to do the transfer. My qustion is, since my H-1B starts on 04/01/06, do I have to provide pay-stub after 04/01/06 for H-1B transfer? Will paystubs on OPT (from the same company) work?

I want to start on my new position as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your help!

The purpose of pay stub is to prove whether one was in status as H1. USCIS wants the proof that you were paid properly with H1.
So, I guess pay stub on OPT does not have much meanings for H1 transfer.
