Can I use Drop Box in India for stamping...Please share views...

Hi Guys,

I am going to india and have to get my H-1 stamped which I just got approved from INS here in the US. Would I be able to use the Drop box for the visa or will I have to go in person. Please let me know to make my plans.
 
Recently I got my H1 stamped in Chennai, having had the H1 approved in the US. Used the drop box, without any hassles. The TTS folks were helpful, even when I called them from here. If you'd like, they will even hold the passport for pickup (instead of sending it), once the consulate has stamped; especially useful if you're going to be on the road in India.
 
I don't think this is applicable in Delhi. I know for sure that it is good for chennai. Check before you leave.

Also, at chennai, it is taking a good 3 weeks to get the stamping done thr the drop box. I had it done very recently.
