Can I use DOS letter to apply for H1?

I just received the DOS letter (they sent my case to Nebraska). Can I use the DOS recommendation to apply for an H1? Thx, mutlu

Hi Mutlu,

Can you provide us with your timeline?? I talked to a lady at DoS about my No-Objection case
yesterday. They got everything as of March 7th 2002 and I still have not received anything. She thinks It
should have been done already and gave me a fax number to contact... I do not know what to do and I am running out
of time on my current J-1. Help anybody?? Jigesh, Ziad, Andrei???

Hi Gislin,
My documents were recieved at the DOS on feb 25.Not yet got any reponse.They told me it is going to take some time anywhere from 6 weeks to 2 months.Let me know if something comes up at your end.

When did your no objection certificate FROM THE HOME COUNTRY reach the department of state?.mY NO OBECTION CERTIFICATE WAS RECEIVED ON FEBRUARY 26TH.nO NEWS YET.cONTACTED THE DOS,THEY GAVE ME FAX NUMBER.SENT THE FAX ASKED THEM ABOUT THE PROCESSING?
