How are you. My I-485 has been filed for over three years now and it is still pending. Currently I am still using my H-1B visa, but I do have my EAD approved. Recently I got a job offer from an international organization with similar job and similar salary. However the international organization only sponsors g-4 visa, not H-1B. I don't have much knowledge about G-4 visa. Would you please help me with the following questions? Thanks very much for your help:
1. Can I take a job offer from an internation organization which needs G-4 visa since I am waiting for green card to be approved? If I ask the employer to sponsor me G-4 visa, will that affect my pending green card case?
2. Should I just use EAD to work for the new employer or should I get G-4 visa (for the safety in case my green card case is denied)?
3. When my EAD gets expired in future, can I still renew it if I possess G-4 visa?
I sincerely hope you can help me with these questions as I never used G-4 visa before. I am not really sure what impact it would bring to any pending GC case. Does anyone on the board have similar experiences using G-4 visa while waiting for GC? I really appreciate any responses. Thanks very much in advance!
