Can i travel w/o AP with

My H-1 (Stamped and valid until Mar' 2004).

I-485 RD 12/18/2001 (pending)
I-131 RD 6/20/2003 (pending and don't expect approval for another 2-3 months)

But i worked on my EAD from Sep' 2002 to Mar' 2003.

Need to travel in 1st week of October. (NOT URGENT THOUGH)

IF u have used EAD then ur H1 is void unless u have a new H1 VISA which u got after using EAD.

if you have new H1 stamped on your pp, you should be find to travel!

Is that the way it works ..

Once you use your EAD (or AP to get into the US), does this imply that your H-1 is disbanded ..?


How about the other way: Now that you have used your EAD, but you renew your H-1B (to have a backup plan) or use your H-1b to enter into the US; does this mean that your EAD is invalid now ???
