Can I travel to Canada and come back within 30 days without H-1 stamp

Hi, Gurus, I want to travel to Canada and come back within 30 days. I am currently in H-1 status but without a stamp on the PP. Do I need a H-1 stamp to come back?

Now atomatic revalidation is cancelled, so you can not comeback to USA without stamping even after 1 day also.
